    Restaurant/Entertainment venue looking for a strong Senior Catering Sales Manager - GREAT commission and team environment - venue does close to $2mm in revenue - $10-20k++ in commission

    Essential Responsibilities:

    The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

    · Meets and strives to exceed budgeted sales objectives.

    · Consistently achieves KPI standards and aim to go beyond.

    · Proactively identifies new business opportunities through outbound efforts and ability to close at a high rate with strong negation skills.

    · Assists with creating sales initiatives and strategy focused on driving new and repeat business.

    · Strong rapport with local destination management companies, meeting & event planners, convention and visitor bureaus/associations, hotels.

    · Time management is extremely organized and efficient.

    · Excellent communication and follow up skills with clients and liaison between Star Lanes departments.

    · Delivers outstanding guest service throughout all stages of the sales process including ongoing post-event follow-up to ensure repeat business and referrals.

    · Ensures weekly and monthly financial reporting is accurate and completed.

    • Assists with leading internal sales team meetings.

    · Team-minded with a willingness to coach, develop, and support team.

    · Monitors office procedures to ensure timely returned calls, follow up on leads and opportunities.

    · Ability to multi-task and shift directions quickly

    · Ensures all organization objectives are completed in a timely fashion.

    · Attends and actively participates in local professional networking event organizations and off-sites with lead follow up.

    · Work closely with operation and culinary team to ensure flawless execution for all events. This includes communication, event execution and meeting national standards.

    · Fosters a "fun" and engaging work environment, leading by example.

    · Flexible in approach, can readily adopt to business and team needs and changes.

    Desired Qualifications and Skills

    · Minimum five (5) year's event/sales experience preferred.

    · Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills, listening skills, ability to check for understanding after direction is given (follow up,) basic math skills, strong organization skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.

    · Computer skills required (Excel, Word), CRM and Catering Software Systems. Salesforce and Tripleseat a bonus.

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

    · Flexible hours: evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

    · Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

    · Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, and stoop.

    · Ability to remain stationery and work at a computer screen, or on a phone line for long periods of time.

    · Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.
