    Business Analyst
    On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, Procom is seeking a Business Analyst


    Business Analyst Job Description

    You will support the execution of multiple reporting mechanisms in support of key technology initiatives and regulatory remediation, providing critical insights on execution progress, issues and budget.

    In this role, you will gain a detailed understanding of execution approach associated with delivering on regulatory commitments.

    You will work with senior stakeholders and leaders in charge of these efforts and support not only the vision for reporting progress, but also key strategic initiatives for the firm.


    The ideal candidate is very comfortable working with large amounts of data, merging and reconciling data sets from various systems, creating a story of progress, or highlighting areas requiring more attention and focus.


    Business Analyst Responsibilities


    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Become a Subject Matter Expert with various data sets associated with regulatory remediation plans and program deliverables.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Support analysis of data primarily in Excel and PowerPoint to develop various reporting views to communicate progress, achievements, issues, narrative, and provide key insight to execution and business partners.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Own the day-to-day development and execution of bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of analysis/metrics that are generated. Support ad hoc and time sensitive requests on additional details requiring data analysis.

    Business Analyst Required Skills


    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Expert in Excel and data manipulations. Proficient in PowerPoint including creating insightful charts.u00A0
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proficient in working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proficient in independently working with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and bringing those requirements to life ensuring timely delivery.u00A0
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, able to navigate a complex organization and function effectively through ambiguity.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Attention to detail and able to keep track of changing requirements is a must.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate complex work efforts across multiple groups and lines of business.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of seniority, independently.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Strong skills in delivering successful outcomes based on ambiguous data and high-level directions.
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
    • u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 7-10 years experience in financial services, consulting, or technology
