Data & Research Department WHY AMIkids?


To conduct data analysis and research that supports AMIkids' business needs, inform organizational priorities based on an understanding of both external and internal data trends, and provide training and support for AMIkids team members to effectively communicate organizational impact to stakeholders.


What you will be doing:


As a Research Data Analyst you will be responsible for the creation and distribution of data reports, data collection and validation, research and evaluation support, and training and technical support related to data for AMIkids National Office and AMIkids Program Team Members.


Role requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required, (with an emphasis on statistics, data analysis and/or social science coursework),
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel required; strong competency in SQL preferred,
  • Knowledge and experience with database and statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, etc.), and Microsoft Office programs,
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and nonverbally, with strong attention to detail,
  • Working knowledge of best practices and database management practices; in the field of juvenile justice, criminology preferred,
  • We prefer you have experience working with a nonprofit organization (this is not a dealbreaker).
