    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM (Overview & Key Responsibilities):

    As the Employee Experience Specialist, you will help support in creating a positive and engaging work environment and ensure that our teammates feel appreciated, supported, and motivated. You will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of our teammates journey with Lube-Tech is fulfilling by implementing and maintaining initiatives that enhance the overall teammate experience. This position will provide hands-on consulting, collaboration, and support to all departments to identify and address teammate needs. The Employee Experience Specialist will ensure organizational effectiveness through alignment of people, processes, and structure and develop solutions that reflect the objectives of the organization and will encompass various functions, including onboarding, teammate engagement, talent development, talent acquisition, performance management, and retention strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of teammate engagement strategies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive meaningful change within the organization.

    • Teammate Engagement and Relations: provide day-to-day direction to leadership on teammate relations issues to include policy and procedure interpretation, performance management, attendance concerns, employment-related investigations, and adverse employment actions while maintaining a focus on creating a positive and productive relationship between Lube-Tech and its teammates and fostering a sense of collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
    • Talent Acquisition: Manage background check processes, coordinate hiring events, and maintain the candidate experience from offer acceptance to start date. Partners with leaders on open positions and submission of requisitions. Ownership of outreach efforts including coordinating, scheduling, and occasional attendance of hiring events, tours, mock interviews, etc. Occasional assistance with candidate sourcing, scheduling interviews, and candidate interviews. Ability to occasionally complete full-cycle recruiting, as needed.
    • Teammate Experience Processes and Strategies: Maintain, develop and implement initiatives to enhance teammate engagement, satisfaction, and productivity, aligning with Lube-Tech's purpose and values.
    • Teammate Feedback and Survey Management: Implement and/or administer feedback mechanisms to gather insights into teammate experiences, analyze data, and recommend actionable solutions. Partner with leaders based on the feedback.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Community and Well-Being, People & Culture, Learning & Development, leadership, and other departments to identify and address teammate concerns, develop solutions, and implement best practices. Work closely with the People & Culture team to align teammate experience initiatives with overall People & Culture strategies and objectives.
    • Onboarding and Orientation: Ownership of new teammate orientation (bi-weekly). Provide ownership and drive improvement of comprehensive onboarding process and programs to facilitate a smooth integration of new teammates into Lube-Tech's culture.
    • Teammate Recognition and Rewards: Assist with recognition programs that celebrate teammate achievements and contributions. Recommend and administer rewards and incentives that motivate and retain high-performing teammates.
    • Performance Management Support: Provide guidance and support to leaders and teammates on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development. Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance this process.
    • Maintain Accurate Teammate Records: Update and maintain teammate information within the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This includes routing requisitions for Talent Acquisition, hiring candidates to ensure data accuracy, processing terminations, promotions, transfers, salary changes, and other relevant teammate data in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Performs various special projects or administrative tasks, such as updating policies, job descriptions for unit of business supported, developing/administering the AAP, unemployment claims, and other duties as assigned.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

    Education: Bachelor's in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Experience and/or Training: 3+ years' Human Resources Generalist (or equivalent) experience

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of teammate engagement strategies, best practices, and industry trends.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teammates at all levels of the organization.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
    • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance the teammate experience.
    • Solid computer skills to include MS Office Suite products, HRIS systems (UltiPro), Smartsheet, etc.

    WHAT SETS YOU APART (Preferred Qualifications):

    Experience and/or Training:

    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in 1-2 of the following disciplines: Compliance, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Talent Development, HRIS (Ultimate Software, UKG)
    • Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions
    • Demonstrated ability to provide support to remote teammates

    License/ Certification:

    • PHR/SPHR certification (or equivalent)
