About this Role:


The Enterprise Data and Information Management Program's Health Information Management Division (HIMD) at the California DHCS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) within the Business Intelligence Branch.

  • The role of the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) may perform a wide variety of tasks requiring regular innovative problemsolving within broadly stated and nonspecific guidelines. The scope typically includes multiple program areas in the Business Intelligence Services, and involves planning, developing, and implementing technological solutions that are essential to the mission of HIMD. The purpose of HIMD, within Enterprise Data and Information Management, is to establish, implement, and monitor the management of data throughout its lifecycle supporting business objectives and to drive qualitative decisionmaking. HIMD data management support services include Business Intelligence Services, Data Exchange and Delivery Services, and Data Quality Services.
