    About this Role:

    The position will provide leadership and subject matter expertise on dual eligible and Medicare topics within the Department and with other state departments. Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of the Office of Medicare Innovation and Integration (OMII), the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) leads the policy development, research, and stakeholder engagement for the OMII. The OMII plans and develops innovative models for access to long-term services and supports (LTSS) for Medicare-only beneficiaries, as well as integrated care for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medi-Cal. The SSM II will be responsible for planning and facilitating stakeholder meetings with multiple internal and external stakeholders to develop policies and initiatives; developing and submitting policy planning documents to control agencies; and knowledge of state and federal regulations for Medicare and Medicaid programs. The position will provide leadership and subject matter expertise on dual eligible and Medicare topics within the Department and with other state departments.
