    We Are Hiring: Management Services Technician

    Job Description and Duties

    Looking to join a vibrant administrative team that ensures California's extensive water programs are well-assessed and financed? The State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Administration Services, Fee and Revenue Branch is seeking a Management Services Technician. This position operates in a hybrid environment, with the office situated at 1001 I Street, on the 18th Floor, right in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with current in-office requirements of two days a month, ramping up to one day per week during the fee billing season, and as needed based on operational demands. Please note that the balance between in-office and telework days is subject to change.

    The Management Services Technician (MST) plays a crucial role in delivering timely and professional technical/clerical support to staff and the public, both electronically and in person. Effective communication, technical research, multitasking, and proficiency in various fee program billing processes are key aspects of this role. Proficient use of office equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite is essential on a daily basis.

    Essential personal qualifications for candidates include integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, teamwork skills, and the ability to execute assigned duties effectively.

    Salary and Benefits

    Candidates will be appointed according to the CalHR salary rules. Benefits, including health benefits and leave programs, are available for eligible Water Board employees.
