    Job Title: Underwriting Specialist at CRC

    Description:
    Our company is currently looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Specialist to join our team. As an Underwriting Specialist at CRC, your main responsibility will be the renewal of business while providing top-notch professional service to Agents and Companies. Below are the key details of the job role:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Underwrite renewal business independently
    • Process endorsements and policy cancellations
    • Provide guidance to Underwriting Assistants
    • Prepare renewal files and liaise with brokers for documentation
    • Manage policy servicing requests and invoicing
    • Handle new business and renewal processes efficiently
    • Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements
    • Maintain underwriting files and pending/suspense system
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers
    • Perform any other assigned duties
    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:
    • College degree in business or equivalent experience
    • One year of wholesale insurance experience
    • State-specific Insurance License
    • Knowledge of insurance policies
    • Experience with commercial multi-line underwriting
    • Proficiency in company automation tools
    • Ability to build strong client relationships
    • Team player with good communication skills
    • Updated knowledge of the insurance industry
    • Written and verbal communication skills
    • Availability for extended hours when required
