Stealth Partner Group an Amwins Group Company is looking for an ambitious
_Underwriting Assistant _who is passionate about playing a critical role in the maintenance and growth of our organization. The Underwriting Assistant will work under the supervision of the Lead Underwriter.


This position is located in
Scottsdale, AZ and will be an
in-office position with the ability to work from home up to 2 days a week.

Responsibilities include:


  • Coordinate responses to RFP's and proposal preparation for new business which includes reviewing all prospect data, target pricing, network analysis, utilization review, submitting RFPs to the appropriate stop loss markets, and subsequent follow up processes.
  • Coordinate the client renewal process which includes reviewing all renewal data and submitting RFPs to the appropriate stop loss markets.
  • Prepare and maintain quote spreadsheets, stop loss data, and historical client information used for business analysis.
  • Communicate with our Broker Clients, Third Party Administrators and Carriers.
  • Review Applications, Policies, and Schedule of Benefits ensuring that they are complete, accurate and in accordance with the sold case terms.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
  • Insurance and/or Underwriting experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Must customer service oriented
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize workload and meet deadlines in fastpaced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills: ability to work cooperatively and jointly with various staff members
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail are necessities
