    About the Position:

    The EUS Specialist, IT Services will maintain our existing technological environment's effective and secure operations for our teachers, staff, and students. They will primarily support tier 1 and tier 2 needs as identified by The IT Service Manager, such as endpoint break-fix, application support, and other Ad Hoc needs. The EUS Specialist , IT Services reports to the Director of IT. This job description is meant to outline the responsibilities of the position, but other duties may be assigned as the needs of the school arise.

    This is a 12-month position which is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay under

    the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

    The responsibilities of the IT EUS Specialist include:

    End User Support:

    Be the first point of contact for students, staff, and faculty with computer and technology-related issues.
    Respond promptly and professionally to support tickets through various channels (email, phone, online portal).
    Provide thorough and accurate troubleshooting and problem-solving for a wide range of issues.
    Assist with walk-up support, clearly explaining solutions and demonstrating procedures.
    Device Management:

    Support the IT Asset Management team with various tasks, including device maintenance, provisioning, and auditing.
    Assist with the maintenance and repair of student and staff devices (Chromebooks, iPads, Apple devices, Windows devices, mobile devices).
    Participate in the provisioning process, enrolling devices into the system and deploying them to users.
    Infrastructure Support:

    Provide basic support for user-facing systems, including JAMF, Google Workspace, printers (Uniflow), and meeting room technology.
    Stay up-to-date on the functionalities and configurations of these systems.
    Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
    Other duties as assigned

    Desired Qualifications:

    Strong technical skills and experience troubleshooting common computer and

    technology issues.

    ● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    ● Customer service-oriented, with a commitment to providing a positive and helpful

    experience.

    ● Proficiency in using computers and common software applications.

    ● Experience with ticketing systems preferred.

    ● Familiarity with JAMF, Google Workspace, or similar user-facing systems is a plus.

    ● Bachelor's Degree preferred

    In addition to the above requirements, staff members must meet the requirements of all hires at Capital City including a criminal background check.
