    End User Compute Systems Engineer and Trainer (TS/SCI - Poly)

    Michael Carroll Description ORBIS Operations is currently seeking a highly skilled Dell End User Compute Systems Engineer and Trainer to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC
    This role is essential in operating, maintaining, and optimizing our customers' End User Compute (EUC) environments, with a particular focus on DellEMC Products, including DELL Wyse WMS
    The successful candidate will not only ensure the robust performance of these EUC solutions but will also provide expert education and training to our customers, enabling them to efficiently manage and utilize their Dell PC portfolio
    Key Responsibilities


    • Operate and maintain customer EUC environments, focusing on DellEMC products, especially DELL Wyse WMS, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
    • Develop and conduct training sessions on the Dell PC and EUC portfolio for customers, tailored to their specific operational needs and knowledge levels.
    • Perform daily system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance to preemptively address issues and ensure uninterrupted system performance.
    • Advise customers on best practices for EUC management, including problem/issues management, change management, and continual service improvement.
    • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, serving as a primary point of contact for complex EUC-related issues.
    • Collaborate with customers to assess their EUC needs and consult on the most effective use of Dell End User Compute products to meet these needs.
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and features within the Dell PC and EUC portfolio and the broader technology landscape

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Deep knowledge of DellEMC End User Compute products, particularly DELL Wyse WMS.
    • Proven experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting EUC environments.
    • Strong capability to develop and deliver impactful training and educational sessions.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively address EUC-related issues.
    • Knowledge of IT security standards and practices; Security+ CE Certification is required.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and educating customers with diverse technical backgrounds.
    • A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on new technologies and products within the Dell EUC portfolio.
    • Abilityto work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications:

    • US Citizen

    Clearance:
    TS/SCI (w/Poly)


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications in DellEMC EUC solutions are highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in End User Compute administration, with a focus on DellEMC products.
    • Security+ CE Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
