    Description


    The Partnership Taxation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to tax compliance and partnership matters within the organization.

    This will involve ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying tax planning opportunities, and managing relationships with external tax advisors.


    Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    Tax compliance:

    Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and any other applicable taxes.

    This includes gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing tax workpapers, and reviewing tax calculations and returns before submission.

    Tax planning and strategy:
    Collaborating with senior management and other departments to develop tax planning strategies and initiatives.

    Identifying potential tax savings opportunities and making recommendations to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.


    Partnership management:

    Managing the company's partnership agreements and relationships, including drafting and reviewing partnership agreements, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms.

    Serving as the main point of contact for partners, addressing any issues or concerns, and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree and/or professional certifications (such as CPA or CMA) preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
    • Experience working with partnerships or similar business structures.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant accounting tools.
