    Job Summary:

    We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide excellent customer service and assist members with their retirement planning.     The Retirement Specialist role involves educating members on ASRS benefits and guiding them through their retirement options. Following a comprehensive four-week training program, team members are empowered to deliver top-notch service and support. Enjoy a schedule with no nights or weekends, and telework opportunities post-training.

    Job Duties:

    • Deliver exceptional customer service to ASRS members across various stages of their careers
    • Explain ASRS policies and procedures in a call center setting
    • Educate members on their retirement decisions
    • Assist with member inquiries and account maintenance
    • Support members in accessing online account information
    • Clarify benefit calculations and address account-related concerns
    • Research and resolve member questions
    • Collaborate with ASRS divisions to provide member account support

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

    • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
    • Background in public-facing roles such as food service or retail preferred
    • Strong analytical, computer, and organizational skills
    • Ability to grasp complex policies and procedures
    • Excellent phone communication skills
    • Team player with a focus on meeting objectives
    • Demonstrated professionalism and strong judgment
    • High School diploma or equivalent required

    Selective Preference(s):

    • Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
    • 1 year of customer service experience preferred

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • Background check including credit and criminal history
