    Description

    The UX Researcher Position

    The UX Researcher will play a key role in the UX design team, focusing on conducting design research to guide the design process from discovery to wireframes and visual design. In this position, the UX Researcher will take the lead in creating and implementing research plans, methodologies, and presenting findings to influence design evolution. Essentially, this role translates unmet user requirements and business prospects into successful product launches by utilizing user research across various design stages. The UX Researcher aims to develop an exceptional user experience for frontline workers, aiding in transforming unmet user needs and business chances into efficient tools for employees.

    The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for user-centered research and design, coupled with a diverse background across various products, channels, and research methods.

    • Extensive familiarity with usability and user experience research tools and techniques (e.g., field research, heuristic reviews, benchmarking, card sorts, lo-fidelity prototyping methods, etc.)
    • Excellent project management and negotiation abilities are crucial for this role.
    • Effective communication, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills are essential.
    • Proficiency in conveying research outcomes, visually representing data, and justifying methods and approaches verbally and in writing.
    • Strong moderation skills and techniques for group facilitation and consensus establishment.
    • Capability to work autonomously, within a team, and self-directed is vital.
    • With over 5 years of experience in usability research encompassing diverse responsibilities. A blend of web and mobile experience is preferred by the client.
    • Relevant exposure in areas like human factors, interactive design, information architecture, and/or market research is advantageous.
    • Hands-on involvement in crafting wireframes and generating interactive prototypes utilizing tools like Axure, JustinMind, Invision, Figma, and Sketch.
    • Proficiency in crafting user personas and journey maps to reinforce a user-centric design methodology.
    • Comprehensive understanding of user interface design standards and principles is a necessity— especially if backed by research-related experience.

    Salary Range: $50-75

    The specific remuneration for this role will be dictated by various factors, encompassing the role's extent, intricacy, and location, alongside market labor costs; the candidate's skills, education, training, certifications, and experience; and other job conditions.
