This role is essential to promoting the health of the warehouse operation. The warehouse manager role will wear many hats and personally effect all areas of business.From finances and expense management, to troubleshooting operational execution, to implementing customer procedures, the Warehouse Manager is a trusted leader in the branch.
What you will be doingPlanning and organizing:
Warehouse management is responsible for developing and implementing operational plans and strategies that ensure the efficient and effective use of warehouse resources, including staff, equipment, and space.
Staff management:
Warehouse management is responsible for hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Inventory management:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory is managed in a way that minimizes losses and ensures timely delivery to customers.
Equipment management:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and that it is used in a safe and effective manner.
Quality control:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all goods received and shipped meet the quality standards set by the company and its customers.
Health and safety:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is operated in a safe and healthy manner, in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Customer service:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all customer requests and orders are handled promptly and accurately, and that customer complaints are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance:
Warehouse management is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
How you will be successful5 years of experience in warehouse operations
Knowledge of bonded warehouse procedures
Well experienced with Container Freight Station
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deep Understanding of Inventory Management and Facilities Management
Knowledgeable of Extensive WMS
Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
Passion for problem solving and providing excellent customer service
Passion for leadership and development of people
