    Description

    Our client, a dynamic health and wellness organization based in Southern California, is on the lookout for a skilled Director of Sales. This individual will play a crucial role in spearheading the sales team, focusing on expanding the company's distribution network to retail outlets across the state.

    As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for:

    • Building and overseeing a team of regional sales representatives
    • Securing sales partnerships with dispensaries statewide
    • Developing and implementing sales strategies and budgets
    • Setting goals for the sales team at individual, regional, and statewide levels
    • Establishing a system to monitor and optimize sales, promotions, and expenses
    • Planning and executing promotional programs and events in collaboration with the marketing team
    • Forming partnerships with key dispensaries and delivery services
    • Cultivating long-term relationships with buyers and budtenders
    • Representing the brand at industry events and conferences
    • Providing training to sales staff and ensuring effective communication of product information
    • Driving brand advocacy and maintaining consistent messaging
    • Collaborating with marketing and operations to enhance consumer experiences
    • Traveling as needed to support marketing initiatives and retail activities

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in leading high-growth sales teams
    • Proven ability to manage teams and establish partnerships with various stakeholders
    • Self-motivated with expertise in designing promotional plans and merchandising strategies
    • Dedication to providing exceptional sales support to retail partners
    • Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate cross-functionally
    • Preference for individuals with a background in CPG companies and health & wellness product sales

    Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Base salary plus commission
