Description
OverviewThe Director of Admissions assists in organizing and carrying out the school's recruitment and admissions programming in accordance with diocesan policies and school mission to attract and maintain an academically qualified student body by giving them the necessary tools for learning and by fostering wonder and love for all that is genuinely true, good, and beautiful.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage the Campus Visit Program.
Manage the overall operations of the Admissions Office including responding to the website and other duties to ensure the overall operational success of the admissions office.
Prep for visits and tours held at schools including the preparation and delivery of collateral materials and communication and confirmation with families.
Represent Saint Andrew's at community organizations, including the preparation and delivery of a brief presentation covering the school mission, community, experience, and admissions process.
Support positive rapport with Catholic school partners.Remain current on school policies, programming, achievements, and opportunities to facilitate productive conversation with prospective students and families.
Maintain an understanding of the Diocese of Venice recruiting/admissions policies.
Maintain the department's prospective student database by managing data entry of student information collected.
Facilitate campus tours for prospective students and families.
Assist in the annual review and evaluation of incoming students and transfer applications.
Assist in the updating, design and development of recruitment and admission materials, both print and web-based.
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelors degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students and parents.
Proficient with technology including Word, Excel and Office
Thorough knowledge of the culture of the school
