    Where you come in:
    You will support device characterization efforts for Clinical and Pre-Clinical study devices. Additionally, support Clinical study evaluations of new technologies.

    You will support failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem-solving to drive the understanding of in vivo device failures.

    You will plan and execute post
    • Clinical experiments for sensor and device performance characterization.

    You will establish and track metrics for Clinical failures across studies and programs to better determine frequency and possible root causes and/or critical parameters increasing/decreasing failures.

    You will develop analysis methods and determine appropriate metrics to assess the product.
    You will develop and maintain project timelines and provide updates and feedback to project leadership.

    You will evaluate and drive the development of new test methods and analytical techniques for use in root cause investigations.

    You will work cross-functionally with R&D, new markets, and external partners to develop and characterize new product development efforts.
    You are responsible for providing team and project updates and reports as needed.


    What makes you successful:

    You have a bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    You are comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
    You have experience using root cause analysis methods and a proven ability to utilize structured problem-solving methodologies.

    You have strong analytical and experimental skills and a broad engineering mindset, with familiarity with analytical equipment for the medical device industry.

    You have experience with data analysis methods/software and programming, e.g., JMP, MATLAB.You have effective technical writing skills, including the ability to write protocols, technical reports, and documents.

    You have experience with medical devices and working in a regulated industry preferred.

    You are adept at analysis methods and analytical techniques, with the ability to construct appropriately powered and creatively designed experiments to solve complex problems.

    You have the ability to run self-directed projects, manage timelines, and execute projects.

    You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize activities to meet project objectives and timelines.

    Education Requirements:
    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years related experience

    Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands, fingers, wrist, and greater arm to handle small materials, tools, boxes, and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling, twisting, and squatting movements
