    Description

This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fraud prevention and detection within the credit union.     Job Duties:

    • Supervise and direct people and resources to meet department and organizational goals.
    • Motivates people, plans, and prioritizes areas of responsibility, responds to changing conditions, and manages costs effectively.
    • Makes prudent decisions that are timely, well thought out, and that reflect awareness of impact to the credit union, the member, and/or others involved.
    • Proactively develops the competency and knowledge of the Fraud Operations team as it pertains to assigned job duties.
    • Develops and implements effective, efficient procedures to ensure the organization effectively monitors, prevents, and mitigates fraud throughout the organization.
    • Promotes a collaborative, cooperative, and productive working environment. Responds to others in the department and to those in other departments or branches. Demonstrates sensitivity, team building, support, and respect.
    • May participate in or take lead with projects as requested by the Vice President Internal Audit and Compliance.
    • Works as scheduled to provide consistent service to relevant stakeholders.
    Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in fraud management.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
    • Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns indicative of fraudulent activity.
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team, as well as to influence stakeholders across the organization.
    • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough investigations and accurate reporting of fraudulent incidents.
    • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to fraud prevention and financial services.
    • Must be bondable.
