    Description


    Project manager - transit Regular (US only) Full time Seattle, WA Job Description Mott MacDonald has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager overseeing projects for our key client Sound Transit.

    Ideally applicants will come from an engineering background; the main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
    Provide key support to our prime contractors and the ultimate client Sound Transit Successful delivery of projects to time, quality, and budget Maintain internal project BMS requirements Ensure contract and invoicing needs are completed on a timely basis Establish effective communications across the project delivery, client, and stakeholder teams Implement problem solving and decision-making processes within the project team Mentor less experience colleagues in the skills of project management Contribute to securing opportunities and repeat business through the high quality of service delivery Candidate Specification A degree in a construction, engineering, or project management subject, is preferred A relevant professional qualification is preferred Minimum 7 years project management experience with transit clients Experience managing and leading project teams to successful outcomes Good client and stakeholder relationship building skills Effective communication with clients' project team and business manager Experienced in successful commercial management of projects Good knowledge of planning and other aspects of project controls Demonstrable track record of successful business development and achievement of targets or contribution

    Salary Range:
