    Software Business Analyst Location:
    Orlando, FL Duration: 12 Month Contract Job ID: #67631

    Pay Range:
    $35-43 Hybrid: Position will be required to be onsite at Cape Canaveral, FL 1 day per week. Local candidates only. The company is seeking a Software Business Analyst to bridge the gap between the business and technical software development team. The chosen candidate will join a prominent, fast-paced team within the FBM Information System Applications group. As the FBM IS Software Business Analyst, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders in the business and FBM IS Project Leads to define/document requirements, prioritize requests, and guide the roadmap for implementation ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and relevant teams.


    Essential Functions:

    • Collaborate with end users and executive leadership to grasp business requirements, defining & communicating the overall vision, objectives, goals, and strategy for the FBM solution
    • Develop detailed user stories that describe features, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
    • Drive change and oversee the integration of new ideas
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and redesign to achieve objectives efficiently
    • Perform functional testing to meet Acceptance Criteria
    • Establish and nurture strong business relationships
    • Thrive in a dynamic team setting as a valuable team player
    • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle
    • Demonstrate adept project management and prioritization abilities
    • Actively build and update technical knowledge in Oracle Technologies, staying abreast of current trends and best practices to deliver consistent and standardized solutions Education:
    • BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field

    Business Analyst Certification Preferred Experience:

    • 5+ years experience as a Software Business Analyst
    • 2+ years experience in Software Engineering, Software Interfacing, and Oracle technologies (SQL, Forms, Reports, and Database development)
    • 1+ years experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)
    The ideal candidate must demonstrate experience and proficiency in:


    • Gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
    • Creating use cases and test scripts based on business requirements
    • Coordinating Integration Test and User Acceptance Test activities
    • Proposing innovative solutions to meet current and future business needs
    • Documenting and managing system issues in collaboration with the business
    • Providing business solutions in partnership with technical teams
    • Generating data analysis by writing queries against databases
    • Converting business requirements into functional specifications and managing specification changes
    • Conducting root cause analysis for process improvement following LEAN methodology (ACE)
