- Functions & Responsibilities
- Enhance Capital Growth: Attract investments from registered investment advisors and family offices to the group's funds.
- Relationship Building: Establish new connections with private wealth advisors through various communication channels like email, phone calls, virtual, and face-to-face meetings.
- Fund Knowledge: Clearly explain the Company's different funds and offer tailored guidance based on each investor's objectives.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records by promptly documenting relevant investor interactions and insights in the CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Support fund closings, reporting, and other investor-related activities by working closely with relevant teams.
- Market Insight: Use credit market knowledge and client insights to communicate effectively and strategize with investors.
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is a must. An MBA, advanced degree, or relevant certifications like CFA are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships and raising capital from registered investment advisors, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income products and investment structures, with the ability to clearly explain the group's unique value proposition and its integration into portfolio strategies.
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the capability to address client needs while positioning the group as the ideal solution.
- Proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making and achieve desired results.
- Sound judgment, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
- This position is based in Los Angeles and requires on-site presence at least four days a week for close collaboration with the executive team.

Macdonald & Co. has been given the exciting task of finding a Director of Capital Raising for a prominent investment management and lending platform in Los Angeles, CA.
This dynamic company already has a strong presence in the West and is on the lookout for a Director of Capital Raising specifically for the Los Angeles region. The selected individual will play a key role in boosting sales by attracting new investments to the existing funds, mainly from private wealth advisory firms and family offices.
