    Our goal is to ensure seamless integration of genomic technologies into research projects by offering a wide range of genomic technologies, including Sanger and NGS sequencing, genotyping and gene expression profiling.

    Under general supervision of the laboratory manager, the research technologist performs diagnostic genetic testing, equipment maintenance, solution and reagent preparation, monitors inventory in addition to other tasks in a highly complex clinical diagnostic laboratory.

    Participates in the design and modification of research protocols and SOPs.

    Independently performs non-routine, highly specialized experimental procedures, as well as, carries out a wide range of moderate to complex genomics techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, next-generation sequencing, NGS library preparation/target enrichment, microarrays, and Sanger sequencing.

    Responsible for the oversight and coordination of lab activities, including quality assurance.
    Participate in reagent and assay quality control and validations as needed.
    Follow quality control policies and procedures.

    Ability to operate and maintain moderate to complex lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, sequencers, thermal cyclers, ultra-centrifuges and other scientific equipment related to diagnostic testing.
