    We are seeking Residential Support Staff to offer aid to individuals residing in Substance Abuse Recovery Homes in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

    Compensation:

    $15 - $18 hourly

    Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the safety of residents in Substance Abuse Recovery Homes in Baltimore, MD by monitoring residential census and conducting regular room checks
    • Prepare resident rooms for admission and discharge procedures.
    • Supervise and engage residents in activities that align with their treatment plans in the residential setting
    • Orient clients to the residential program, explaining program policies, client rights, and house rules
    • Enforce residential policies, procedures, and curriculum to support residential living
    • Maintain inventory of residential supplies and communicate any needs to the supervisor promptly
    • Assist residents in self-administering medication and document the process accordingly
    • Provide transportation for residents to medical appointments as well as accompany them for other activities like grocery shopping and vocational training
    • Handle conflicts among residents and provide crisis intervention when necessary
    • Document daily activities, medication administration, incidents, and visitation in the communication log ensuring all staff are informed across shifts
    • Organize and oversee daily activities including meals, chores, group sessions, and recreational activities for residents
    • Share updates on residential services with supervisors during weekly multidisciplinary team conferences
    • Conduct and document fire drills and emergency procedures as required.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory licensing standards for the facility
    • Participate in training sessions to enhance teamwork, communication, and program development
    • Attend program evaluations, committee meetings, and clinical staff gatherings as needed
    • Contribute to building maintenance tasks and upkeep as requested
    Qualifications:
    • A High school diploma or GED is required for this role in Baltimore, MD, US
    • Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience working in residential recovery treatment within a group residential setting
