    About the team
    Our Search Operations team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search optimization, user demands and search quality.

    Our Search Quality Assurance have deep knowledge of data labelling, search strategies optimizations platforms and provides policy guidelines to the search specialist.

    What will I be doing?

    • Responsible for core Prod ops metrics and optimization of search recommendation strategy in global markets, evaluating and analyzing search needs/market preference/strategy effectiveness, improve both search usage and experience
    • Manage regional user feedback for search recommendations, take actions and record cases for periodical analysis to improve user experience accordingly
    • Work closely and flexibly with Search PM and RD teams as well as data delivery teams and XFN stakeholders to achieve product targets together
    • Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive content, including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news
    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualification

    • 3+ years relevant experience in the tech industry, including but not limited to strategy, operation, recommendation, search or related areas;
    • Excellent English language skills
    • Good at data analysis and communication skills and project management experience is preferred;
    • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating across business units;
    • Indepth understanding of TikTok culture, familiar with the Internet usage habits of users;
    • Team player, goaloriented, ready to embrace change and challenges, able to work in a global team efficiently.
    Preferred Qualification

    • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in data/content/culturerelated majors;
    • Familiar with search engines and social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $102220 annually.


    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

    Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

    We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:

    We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.

    As well as Dental, Vision, Short/Long term Disability, Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance plans. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.

    Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
