    Lepley Recruiting Services is representing a Miami based

    flooring contractor

    whose success is been built on honesty, quality, and fostering strong customer relationships.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The role entails, but is not limited to, the following:



    Review and thoroughly understand project plans, specifications, finish schedules, and all related documents to determine the scope of work and materials required.


    Coordinating with the estimating department to perform plan take-offs and ensuring clarity on scope and requirements.


    Verify accuracy and completeness of plan take offs.


    Sends RFIs to customer prior to due date.


    Obtain prices from vendors per the specifications.


    Ensure completeness of bids and proper budgeting for all activities and materials.


    Follow up with customer and/or GC to ensure timely receipt of bids.


    Coordinating material orders and deliveries with the Operations Manager and warehouse staff once submittals are approved and schedules set.


    Attend preconstruction meetings and schedule appropriate crews for the job.


    Planning all construction phases from initiation to completion, emphasizing organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budget adherence.


    Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.


    Conducting job walks with customers and addressing any unforeseen or additional work before commencing the job.


    Conducting pre-installation activities timely and addressing any required changes promptly.


    Meeting with installation crews before starting jobs to ensure clear understanding of tasks.


    Managing installers and field supervisors, overseeing their work, and ensuring quality installations.


    Communicate with the GC (e.g. superintendent, project manager) and deliver project progress reports.


    Ensure that all local, state, and national codes and regulations and safety requirements are followed.


    Collaborate with teams and personnel across company to complete the job on time and within budget.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


    Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and internal databases, with solid mathematical skills.


    Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in the flooring industry or a closely related field.


    Knowledge of carpet, resilient flooring, polished concrete, tile, and stone.


    Strong understanding of flooring and tile installation requirements and methods, materials, and requirements


    Strong attention to detail and accuracy


    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications


    Excellent communication and negotiation skills


    Strong organizational and time management skills


    Ability to oversee and manage ongoing flooring installations.
