Chaseman Global, an international lifescience recruiting company, is representing a rapidly growing agriculture company that is seeking to fill an immediate need for 3 sales representatives to expand its product to farmers across three US regions. This one is for the Great Lakes states of Wisconsin. The others are for Washington's Tri-Cities/Yakima/Wanatchee area, and California's Central Coast to Central Valley.
The US based company is working to make sustainable farming practices easy to access and implement with an industry-first product offering that was developed with farmers for farmers. The product and platform solution has grown from one crop in one state to more than 25 crops across the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America.
The Regional Sales Representatives will drive sales efforts by building on current successes to expand business at existing customers, create and reinforce strategic partnerships, and win new accounts with growers, agronomists, and farming equipment distributors. This includes regular travel throughout the assigned region (eventually, up to 30%) to further develop the business.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Maintain relationships with current clients and identify potential new clients
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the market
• Recruit and maintain a strong network of farmers, agronomists, and distributors
• Manage the onboarding of new customers
• Proactively identify new solutions to meet customers' needs
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to continually add value and communicate value to customer
• Present at customer meetings/trade shows
• Assist with the development of marketing literature
• Writing or suggesting material, research or reports to regularly distribute online and via other channels as a value-add for current and potential customers
• Installation and troubleshooting of the products
Skills and qualifications:
• 1-4 years' sales or crop advisor experience to farmers
• Agriculture / Farming / Grower background
