    Description

    Shaw Search Partners is proud to partner with a major, purpose-driven financial services corporation to identify an outstanding Senior Creative Director

    The Senior Creative Director is a curious, highly motivated individual with a passionate curiosity in what's going on around the world and how it impacts brands. A creative visionary who understands trends and has contributed to creative brand through the execution of big ideas and compelling storytelling. The Senior Creative Director has mastered the art of collaboration and can hone their work to perfection while ensuring it's strategically sound. This person will examine insights and strategy to deliver creative on par with the growth of the business and brand and will inspire creative teams, push the innovative development of creative solutions while communicating, delivering, and optimizing cross-platform strategic initiatives.

    This Senior Creative Director will be hands-on when it comes to coaching and mentoring creators and are obsessed with generating creative value that impacts business outcomes. They direct and lead multiple creative functions to support the strategic goals of the organization and its brands.

    Qualifications

    • 10-15 years in agency and/or in-house creative department
    • Expert in Creative, Brand, Marketing, Customer experience and Content Strategy
    • 5+ years experience directing creative directors and teams on executing creative assets both campaigns and presentations
    • Strong portfolio that reflects work for global or nationally recognized brands
    • Experience in advertising or marketing for the financial services or fintech industries
    • Experience across B2C and B2B industries
    • Bachelor's degree in Art, Communications, Marketing or another related field
    • Genuine curiosity about business and how to motivate clients by way of purpose
    • Expert in creating impactful content across integrated media channels inclusive of broadcast, print, digital and social media channels.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and very strong written, verbal and presentation skills; shows proven ability to pitch and influence in creative concepts; has the ability to sell highly conceptual ideas; shows the realm of the possible and makes it tangible

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the ideation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, customer experiences and content creation to achieve or exceed business objectives and advance the brand. Act as a thought leader by identifying and finding solutions for areas of opportunity in the business by way of creative problem solving and brand alignment
    • Manage multiple creative functions in an efficient and effective manner while seeking out innovative ways to deliver results.
    • Listen, question, prioritize and translate business situations, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts through the production process
    • Lead, coach, guide and motivate team with a clear statement of goals and support in building toward those goals. Consistently takes a leadership role in organizing project teams, encouraging collaboration and innovation, and developing plans for both internal and cross-functional projects or initiatives
    • Set priorities and allocate resources. Regularly assess/build the capability of the team to ensure we build on strengths and continue to develop skills necessary to deliver results

    *Candidates must be willing to travel regularly.
