As the co-founder of Lemonerdy University, a groundbreaking STEM-focused peer-based learning platform, he has already made a significant impact in the fields of education, technology, and entrepreneurship. At the heart of David's mission is the belief that STEM education should be accessible and engaging, with diverse teachers. Lemonerdy University reimagines how students approach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education. As the 2023 T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge Digital Empowerment Category Winner and the 2023 T-Mobile Changemaker Challenge Grand Prize Winner, he has demonstrated his ability to harness technology for positive social change. David's passion for innovation extends beyond Lemonerdy University. He has a multifaceted skill set and is an accomplished photographer, videographer, and editor. His talent earned him a spot as a selected artist for the prestigious 2023 All City Arts Senior Portfolio Exhibition presented in partnership with the Design Museum of Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Beyond his role as a videographer, David plays a pivotal role in the business development of Lemonerdy University. His strategic insights, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to the platform's growth are instrumental in shaping its future. In the world of entrepreneurship, David is a force to be reckoned with. His recognition as a 2023 SXSW EDU Student Startup Competition Finalist showcases his capacity to transform innovative ideas into viable business ventures. He was a 2022 Osmosis All High School Design Competition Finalist, a testament to his ability to merge creativity and problem-solving. His journey as an artist in Chicago began when he was named a 2020 Chicago Library Teen Winter Challenge Young Artist Finalist. A graduate of Kenwood Academy High School, he is currently enrolled in the Long & Foster Institute of Real Estate, holding a temporary residential leasing agent license. He is actively contributing to the real estate industry, working as a residential leasing agent with Dwell Real Estate during his gap year. David's journey is poised to continue its upward trajectory. After his gap year, he will begin a new chapter, enrolling at Morehouse College majoring in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. With his exceptional talent, passion for education, and dedication to innovation, David Wilson exemplifies the spirit of a true changemaker and entrepreneur.
