Medical Sales Rep in New Orleans 

One of the hardest decisions of my life was having to walk away from my career in finance after working so hard for years to earn my degree, but it turned out to be the best and by far the most important decision I have ever made. I first took a job with a subsidiary of ConMed called Linvatec. We sold endoscopic equipment mainly centered around scopes, cameras, insufflation tubing, as well as laparoscopic towers consisting of light sources, insufflators, monitors, and central computers. Coincidentally, I did the exact same thing when I moved to Stryker- just on a slightly larger scale. Fortunately, I’ve had the pleasure of being able to cover cases in almost every field across over 10 different hospitals and surgery centers in the New Orleans area, so I’ve been able to get my name out there and develop relationships and connections all over the city, so I’m very comfortable meeting and working with surgeons and medical professionals in any field of medicine. I’ve also been able to learn a lot about the anatomy of each field, and it’s become both natural and a joy to learn more and more with each case that I cover. 

After leaving Stryker I began to work for a company that put me in position to introduce two main cutting-edge and live-saving products to the state of Louisiana, single-handedly, and on a commission only basis. This was a bit intimidating, but it was just the thing I needed to elevate my sales skills and get my career on track to where I’ve been wanting it to go. I needed a company that would give me a chance and I ran with it. With this multi-dimensional sales and clinical experience, I am now extremely confident that I can take on any role within the medical sales industry.
