    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist at New Start Capital in New York, NY. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing HR policies, employee benefits, payroll, onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, managing HR files, etc. The role will also involve overseeing HR management and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR management
    • Knowledge of HR policies and best practices
    • Experience in employee benefits and benefits administration
    • Managing Payroll
    • Managing unemployment claims
    • Having difficult conversations with employees and managers
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Familiarity with legal requirements and regulations related to HR
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Managing other task as assigned (incoming mail processing, etc.)

    Relevant skills and qualifications in areas such as payroll, recruitment, and employee relations would be beneficial.
