Kendall Ford of Bozeman is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Automotive Sales Manager. Our dealership is looking for a high energy motivating dynamic Sales Manager to lead our department. In this position, you are responsible for managing our car inventory, which involves researching, purchasing, and pricing vehicles. You also oversee the sales staff, helping them meet monthly goals and encouraging leadership development within your team. This position takes strong communication and relationship management skills to get the most out of our team.Responsibilities:
Hire, motivate, mentor and train the New & Used Sales team
Work with the team to maintain sales profitability of New and/or Pre-Owned Vehicles
Manage Customer Retention
Establish and maintain performance standards
Work with the team to maintain sales profitability
Grow the sales department and exceed budget expectations
Manage operations for UVI department
Other duties may be assigned by general management
Qualifications:
Ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
Must have previous automotive leadership experience
Proven ability to close sales
A valid driver license and good driving record is required
Our ideal candidate has prior experience with vehicle sales, preferably in a supervisory role. Kendall offers competitive salary pay plans, that include base compensation plus commission.
Work is primarily performed indoors with some exposure to the outdoors to assist in vehicles sales; indoors work spending the majority of shift working on PCs and using telephone systems.
