- Provide daily campus tours to prospective students and families;
- Connect with prospective students in writing, virtually, over the phone, via text message, and in writing
- Assist with the front desk reception operations;
- Assist with campus visit prep work;
- General office duties, including research, data entry, etc.
- Work some evenings and weekends for special events and visitors;
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned.
- Host visiting families during lunch at Stav Hall (opt in duty for covered meal)
- Create and Initiate evening programming for Res Life (opt in for covered housing see below)
- Create floor and/or building wide programming during Summer 1 and Summer 2 Sessions
- Create programming that can be done within the residence hall, outside and other spaces on-campus
- Programming can occur as individual or within a team
- Team programmatic events must be at a caliber to require a team/group
- All programs/events must be approved by Residence Life
- Program/Events must be submitted prior to any purchases, marketing and implementation
- Programming, event planning, intentional community engagement must occur each week unless waived by Residence Life.

- Room Fee is waived for students employed as Summer Fellows and opted into ResLife Duties

- Residence Life reserves the right to terminate this agreement with a staff member employed by Admissions due to not fulfilling the obligations.
- Residence Life will terminate this agreement with a student who is no longer a staff member of Admissions.

POSITION TITLE:
Summer Admissions Fellow
REPORTS TO:
Director Enrollment Operations
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Summer Admissions Fellows are current students responsible for many of the activities related to the efficient operation of the Campus Visit Program & Student Outreach.
This includes, but is not limited to, leading campus tours, one-on-one connections with prospective students (in-person, virtually, and written form), phone calls and text to prospective students, assisting in the reception area and visit office, and additional, miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Those opting in for covered housing will have the additional duty of creating engaging social evening programming as part of the Res Life team serving students staying on campus.

Monday to Friday (Full Time 30-35 hrs per week)
8:00 am to 4:00 pm Some Saturday mornings might be needed
12:00 -1:00 pm Lunch with prospective students (opt in)
5:00 pm to 11:00 pm ResLife duties (opt in for fee-waived housing); schedule varies Sunday-Saturday, 6 hrs weekly,
Dates Required to be Available:
Whole Summer (May 2- Sep 1)will need to schedule 2 weeks unpaid work during the summer
Block 1 (May 24-July 14) - must not take any breaks during these dates
Block 2 (July 14-Aug 23) - must not take any breaks during these dates
Block 3 (Aug 23-Sep 1) - must not take any breaks during these dates
Students will be hired for blocks of dates.
Choose all summer, or a combination of Block 1, Block 2, and Block 3.
Unpaid days off will be required for students hired for all three blocks.
