    Job Title: Support Coordinator for School Climate and Culture
    Company: School District of Philadelphia


    Supports the Deputy Chief, School Climate and Culture, and the Director, Restorative Practices, in overseeing strategic initiatives related to restorative practices and the Relationships First school-wide program.

    Collaborates with various offices as needed to implement and support restorative initiatives.

    Works on developing and implementing school plans focusing on climate and restorative justice-practices.

    Supports the Relationships First team and school-based staff in implementing Relationships First.

    Essential Functions
    • Assists with coordinating restorative justice-practices initiatives and activities.
    • Collaborates with the team to plan and implement restorative programming.
    • Supervises staff in providing support to schools around climate and violence prevention.
    • Develops and implements professional development for staff.
    • Provides coaching support to schools.
    • Supports staff in the implementation of meetings and programs.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Four years of professional experience in organizing prevention and intervention services.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based school-wide climate programming.
    • Understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and equity principles.
    • Ability to plan operations, make sound decisions, work on multiple projects, apply conflict resolution, develop action plans, and communicate effectively.
