    The Opportunity

    Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Senior Manager of Facilities Projects to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing master plan projects from initiation to completion, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and conflict resolution.     Pay

    Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $ $92200 / year

    In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range.     Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing a multi-year facility improvement project plan, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget

  • Provide leadership to consultants, ensuring expected functionality and architectural design outcomes are achieved, and recommend alternatives to maintain project alignment

  • Facilitate timely decisions and report progress to stakeholders, focusing on addressing issues impacting project goals

  • Develop streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and exceed client expectations, while ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards

  • Manage project budget, schedule, and procurement of design and construction services, including developing return on investment analyses for vendor changes and ensuring compliance with required standards for construction and ongoing operation

  • Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience establishing standards, procedures, and management

  • Knowledge of artifact restoration/rehab
  • Extensive Smartsheet experience

  • Knowledge of both common maintenance practices and project development methodology

  • Valid driver's license is required

    Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
