    The Simulation group is solving one of self-driving's most difficult problems: evaluating the performance of the autonomous driving software stack before it reaches public roads.

    As a software engineer on the Simulation team, you will drive the integration of our simulation tools and frameworks to solve mission-critical evaluation and testing problems.

    You will collaborate closely with systems engineering, behavioral planning, motion planning, and perception teams, as well as the simulation framework and tooling teams, to deliver a solution that will scale as Cruise grows.

    Driving these solutions will require learning the ins and outs of our autonomous driving software stack, simulation frameworks, and simulation testing tools.

    To achieve scale, you will develop application layers on top of simulation framework and tools SDKs.
    Deliver scalable simulation testing solutions to customers evaluating the performance of the autonomous vehicle software stack
    Lead the design and implementation of application layers built using SDKs provided by the simulation framework and tooling teams
    Collaborate with stakeholders and partner simulation teams on complex simulation testing problem
    BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience
    ~Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
    ~ Clear track record of effective collaboration with customers and continuous delivery of quality results in a remote workplace. Comfortable collaborating with data scientists, product managers, machine learning engineers, and systems engineers
    ~ Experience with building or extending robotic simulation frameworks
    Familiarity using at least one column oriented database/data warehouse (i.e. Experience with SQL programming
    Looker, Tableau, Kibana)
