    Description

    Field Service Engineer

    Are you passionate about Automation Technology and Oil and Gas Services? Sensia Global, a leading company in the industry and a Joint Venture between Rockwell Automation and Schlumberger, is looking for skilled Field Service Engineers to join their team in Houston, Texas.

    In this role, you will be part of a company that provides fully integrated digital oilfield automation solutions, working on ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Oil and Gas automation systems at client sites.

    • Key Responsibilities:
    • On-Site Commissioning: Execute commissioning activities for automation systems, including PLCs, DCS, and HMIs, ensuring successful integration and startup of solutions.
    • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues, identify operational gaps, and maintain automation equipment, including Low to Medium Voltage.
    • Customer Support: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing technical support and training.
    • System Upgrades and Modifications: Implement upgrades based on client requirements and collaborate with the engineering team for system improvements.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities and develop necessary documentation.
    • Health, Safety, and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and Sensia HSE policies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
    • Experience in field service engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
    • Knowledge of Process Control, DCS, Safety systems, and Rockwell Automation products.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
