    The Position

    SCOPE: Command Center Operators play a crucial role in DK's team. They provide round-the-clock support to our corporate management, supervisors, field employees, clients, and customers. Responsibilities include operating a multi-line switchboard, conducting pre-employment background screenings, managing company-wide payroll, and delivering top-notch customer service.

    SCHEDULE:

    • 1st Shift: 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday
    • 2nd Shift: 4pm - Midnight, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
    • 3rd Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM, Fri and every other Sunday
    • Part-time and ACA FT hours may be available based on scheduling needs
    Weekend availability is essential.

    COMPENSATION:

    • Rate of Pay: $16.00/hour
    • Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, group accident, identity theft protection, and paid medical leave (eligibility rules apply)

    JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
    • Offer information and assistance regarding emergency, security, and general support needs to callers.
    • Follow dispatch protocols for emergencies and non-emergencies.
    • Efficiently use computer-aided software for documenting complaints and processing anonymous tip line calls.
    • Act as an information hub for DK employees and clients, sourcing requested information when necessary.
    • Handle background screen requests and payroll processing.
    • Monitor a Whistleblower hotline and provide detailed reports to clients.
    • Monitor CCTV systems using recording equipment.
    • Operate and manage various computerized and electronic equipment for access control, fire, and security systems.
    • Generate reports, activity logs, and files, and assist in their distribution and maintenance.
    • Aid in security and event staff scheduling/payroll processing and fill missed shifts.
    • Adhere to site-specific post guidelines.
    • Document daily activities and incident reports accurately.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
    • Good moral character with no felony convictions or misdemeanors related to criminal activity, theft, assault, or moral turpitude.
    • Excellent grooming standards.
    • Above-average customer service skills.
    • High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred.
    • Preferably an Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, business administration, or related fields.
    • Maintain a professional, positive image and demeanor at all times.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
    • Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
    • Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Flexible schedule and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
