Rapids is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller (m/f/d) to join our team.

As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Controlling, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, treasury functions, and internal controls and compliance.

Your insights and strategic support will be essential in guiding the management team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthend closing process for designated entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with shared service centers and external accountants to guarantee smooth and efficient operations.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports for specified entities, adhering strictly to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate financial insights effectively to business leaders, fostering transparency and informed decisionmaking.
  • Facilitate the audit process, acting as the primary liaison between the company and both external and internal auditors.
  • Support treasury operations, including cash monitoring and strategic hedging activities, to align with overarching policies and safeguard the company's financial stability.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance internal control mechanisms to manage financial risks effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies, upholding the integrity and compliance of financial operations.
  • Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting processes, providing critical support for strategic business decisions.
  • Act as a catalyst for change within the Financial Controlling and Billing teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
