Mission Supporter Officer
About the Company:
Jesuit Refugee Service/USA (JRS/USA) aims to provide assistance and advocacy for refugees and displaced individuals globally.
JRS operates in over 50 countries, offering educational, health, psycho-social, and emergency support to more than 1 million refugees, irrespective of their background.
Role Overview:
Are you someone who follows current events and wants to make a difference? This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to contribute to essential programs for refugees globally.
As a Mission Supporter Officer, you will be responsible for engaging with individuals to secure financial support for various refugee programs.
JRS has recently conducted a thorough feasibility study and is seeking a dedicated team member to aid their mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of 75+ donors
- Secure annual contributions totaling $750,000
- Identify new donor opportunities
- Create stewardship materials
Institutional Cultivation and Solicitation:
- Develop and pitch funding proposals
- Submit project reports
- Support strategic fundraising initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Minimum 6 years of fundraising experience
- Proven success in securing gifts
- Familiarity with grant writing
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Work Schedule:
Two days in the Washington DC office, three days remote
Salary Range:
$78,000 - $97,000
