    Job Title: CPG and Toys Product Design and Development Manager
    Location: Carrollton, TX
    Reports To: Vice President of Sales

    Job Summary:
    As the CPG and Toys Product Design and Development Manager, you'll spearhead the development of innovative products from concept to market launch. Working closely with the VP of Sales, you'll ensure our products align with market trends and sales strategies to achieve commercial success. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the team towards exceeding customer expectations, particularly with key retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the end-to-end product design and development process for new CPG and toy products.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify market opportunities and consumer preferences.
    • Mentor and manage a team of designers and engineers, fostering a creative and productive work environment.
    • Oversee prototype creation and product testing to meet safety and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on launch strategies, packaging designs, and promotional materials.
    • Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend enhancements or discontinuations as needed.
    • Manage budgets, timelines, and project resources effectively.
    • Stay updated on industry trends in product design, materials, and technology.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in product design and development within the CPG and/or toy industry.
    • Proficient in developing products for national retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy.
    • Proven track record of bringing successful consumer products to market.
    • Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and technology.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficiency in Chinese Language is a plus due to factory locations in China.
