Job Summary: Avenu|Records is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead the engineering efforts for Avenu|Records. The chosen candidate will direct a skilled team of engineers towards efficient development processes and high-quality results, overseeing engineering strategy and software delivery.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Software Engineering (65%):
• Design, implement, and integrate feature functionality efficiently.
• Write scalable front-end and back-end code, ensuring standards are met.
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Team Management, Product Engagement, and Industry/Customer Engagement (35%):
• Work with the Product Manager and UX Designer to meet customer needs.
• Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and coaching.
• Promote a high-performing culture and collaborate with multiple technology groups.
• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years leading an engineering team.
• 8+ years of object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience in web-based and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Understanding of design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Practical experience in agile delivery.
• Experience with various languages, databases, and DevOps tools.
• Work Environment:

Moderate noise level in an office setting.

• Physical Demands:
• Stationary position for most of the day.
• Operates computer and office machinery.
• Occasional movement inside the office.
• Frequent communication via telephone.
