- Process accounts payable invoices
- Process employee expense reports
- Manage office leases with Lease Accounting software
- Setup vendors to pay with ACH
- Utilize accounting software to generate reporting as requested
- File Business Licenses & Registrations
- Perform special projects as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or similar with 1-3 years of applicable work experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a big plus
- Advanced computer skills required to learn and utilize accounting/project management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized with multiple projects and tasks

Your Role at Walker
Walker Consultants is seeking an organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in our Portage, MI office.
The ability to be a self-starter, handle multiple tasks, effective communicator, and meet firm deadlines is key for this position.
