JOB GOAL:
The job of the Technology Integration Specialist will be for the purpose(s) of improving student performance by interfacing with teachers to facilitate the integration of technology into teaching and learning by developing and conducting professional development sessions on infusing technology into the core areas of academic curriculum; maintaining training facility resources and equipment; providing input and recommendations regarding software purchases; and providing input/insight on ways to increase teachers' use of technology as it positively impacts student performance in the classroom.
This position will be responsible for the updating/maintaining of current student lists and access to the programs being used throughout the district.
JOB DUTIES:
Form strong professional relationship with colleaguesSupport teacher learning and mentor staff in the implementation of technologyProvide staff development (small or large group) in effective use of technology: in-class consultation and assistance with the use of technologySupport data teams and collaborate regarding instructional decisions based on dataWork collaboratively with teachersCultivate and model a respectful working and learning environmentWork with administrators and teachers using assessments, student work, and other data to analyze current practice and identify areas for improving and aligning curriculum and assessmentsTrain teachers and administrators on the use of technology to assist instructionHelp teachers and administrators determine technology needs for improved instruction and student growthWorks collaboratively and communicates effectively with district-level curriculum consultants and school administrationWorks collaboratively and communicates effectively with high school, middle and elementary teachersOther duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Board of Trustees
QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong knowledge and use of a variety of technology to enhance instructionOrganize and deliver Professional Development trainingsStrong leadership skillsSkills in collaboration and the use of data to improve student successKnowledge of district initiatives, including content standards, effective instruction, and assessment practicesAble to manage data and the maintaining of student information within various platformsWork with staff and vendors to overcome obstacles and concernsA life-long learner as demonstrated by active, professional development in classroom technology useMaintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patronsAbility to work cooperatively with staff and administrationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Starting Salary Range - $48,360
This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
The employment "at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District 411.
