Description

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports.
Oversight of proper coding and management of all processes and systems, including documentation review.
Liaison to various departments to resolve accounting issues and explain cost-related questions.
Ensure verification of transactions, complying with financial policies and procedures established by the Company.
Responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Supervise and direct accounting staff (AP/ AR, General, and Cost accounting)
Evaluate all physical contracts with products and billing plans.
Organize customer contracts and evaluate all agreements and invoices.
Guide/prepare tax returns on time and interact with outside accounting firm.
Manage monthly journals, update entries, and maintain and reconcile sub ledgers including fixed assets.
Oversee all audit requirements.
Performing other duties as assigned
Spearhead annual budget reporting among various cost centers.

EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
A successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field plus at least

5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting.

Knowledge in accounting procedures, practices, and principles, possess superb managerial and planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and highly knowledgeable in computerized accounting applications and systems.

Working knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
