    Description

    A NYC-based hedge fund is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their growing Financial Reporting group in an Associate role.

    Responsibilities:

    The Financial Reporting Associate will:

    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Conduct account and performance analyses
    • Handle investor, management, and regulatory reporting for multiple legal entities in global capital markets
    • Work on special projects, such as launching new fund vehicles, conducting historical analyses, fielding bespoke requests from senior management across various internal groups
    • Work with the Software Developers to improve and re-engineer existing processes.
    • Gain a macro view of the firm's financial activities and learn about complex fund structures and transactions
    • Perform other duties, as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of Accounting and/or Reporting experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
    • Previous experience in a Hedge Fund, Investment Management, and/or other Financial Services setting
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized
