    Brooklyn-based Ecommerce Company looking for an IT manager to be the leader the small but diverse team of IT specialist. The team includes programmers, network specialists, website manager, and hardware/helpdesk support.

    Our company relies on the seamless integration of our ERP and content management systems to our multiple online selling platforms (e.g. Amazon, eBay, company-owned website). We are looking for someone who has programming experience so he/she can help troubleshoot problems along with broad IT experience to help improve our overall technical workflow, increase order/inventory efficiency, improve data accuracy, and reduce website/system down time. This role will be the connecting thread across tech specialists and the main liaison between technology and business functions.

    This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for identifying the solutions, deploying the appropriate resources, and following through until the issue is 100% resolved. The incumbent technical staff, while talented, are used to working in a silo and don't effectively collaborate with each other or their business colleagues. We're looking for someone to help change this.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Plan, organize, manage, monitor and evaluate the all activities related to computer systems and electronic processing of information.

    · Lead internal team to maintain and optimize in-house and third-party back-office applications and company-owned ecommerce website

    · Collaborate with our internal customers to design and deliver new functionality

    · Gather business requirements, develop business and technical specifications

    · Contribute to architecture, instrumentation, & performance decisions

    · Keep your hands dirty - Write code and fix bugs

    · Manage the ongoing enhancements to our existing website and to back-office applications

    · Work with the senior Marketing staff to manage the upgrade of our website

    · Manage ongoing ERP system integration and ongoing enhancements

    · Manage pipeline of projects and tasks

    · Manage work teams responsible for ensuring the quality and operation of computer systems, software, telecommunications, networks and computer systems

    · Train team members

    · Diagnose and provide solutions to recurring problems that require special attention

    · Save and secure data and software

    · Develop strategies and feasibility studies for the development of computer systems' design

    · Define and monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with them
