OPERATIONS MANAGER - Remote or On-site (New York City)

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Communications and Administration_
  • Serve as point person, facilitating communications between Winthrop's vendors, employees, the leadership team, and clients, when appropriate
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, performance management
  • Respond to staff questions about company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and administer uptodate employee handbook
  • Develop an employee SharePoint site to consolidate needed information
  • Coordinate and provide oversight of PTO and employee expense management processes
  • Business Operations_
  • Work closely with leadership to facilitate daily operations and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies
  • Monitor the client engagement process from contracting through invoicing
  • Serve as primary management liaison for administrative issues
  • Assist with personnel searches
  • Track company hardware and software in collaboration with IT
  • Support postproject assessments
  • External Communications_
  • Support firm communications with vendors, clients, and partners as needed
  • Support marketing projects and company communications

Qualifications

  • B.A. or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in an operations management role
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and balancing multiple priorities
  • Able to evaluate, refine, and implement policies and processes
  • Strong problem solver who is comfortable in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to professional confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Collegial personality and ability to work independently and with a team
  • Experience using SharePoint preferred
  • Interest in history and archives preferred

Compensation
Annual salary of $60,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience.
