    Description

    The Senior Accounting Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. You will play a key role in periodic financial compliance reporting, monthly account reconciliations, and other monthly close responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of various financial schedules (Flash schedules; Book schedules; Consolidation schedules including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows; and other financial schedules as required)
    • Analyze financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
    • Preparation of various enterprise-wide analyses (Debt compliance calculations; Account reconciliation in Blackline; and other analyses as required.)
    • Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
    • Conduct special studies and develop or recommend accounting methods and procedures.
    • Coordinate annual audits.
    • Coordinate accounting activities with other departments, locations, and divisions.
    • Implementation of new accounting guidance and principles.
    • GAAP Compliance and Accounting special projects.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA Preferred).
    • Minimum two to five years' professional accounting experience (Big 4 experience preferred).
    • Experience with general ledger accounting systems (NetSuite and/or MS D365 preferred).
    • Experience preparing and recording journal entries.
    • Professional level experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (Essbase Excel Add-In & Power BI experience preferred).
    • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate with all levels of associates.
    • Ability to be flexible/adaptable, work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and meet deadlines within given time frames.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Effective team player with strong initiative and work ethic.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required.
    • Work in-person in the Deerfield Beach, FL office a minimum of 3 days a week.
