- Our group is responsible for conducting quality control reviews of loans purchased by Freddie Mac.
- Single Family Quality Control (QC) ensures that the loans purchased by Freddie Mac meet the terms of business under which they were delivered.
- Inform data users about the quality of the loans purchased by Freddie Mac.
- Participate in the development of documentation (job aids, tools, procedures) to maximize efficiency of resources to meet department goals and objectives while mitigating risk and providing value to other areas within Freddie Mac.
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that positively impact the organization's operation.
- Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Make updates as directed to QC policy and procedure documentation
- Solicit and synthesize feedback on proposed Guide or Terms of Business changes impacting QC
- Participate in the process of updating Guide language
- Add documents to SharePoint lists/libraries as well as edit user facing SharePoint pages to provide quick link
- Share ideas for operational improvements
- Typically has minimum of 5 years related experience
- College Degree or equivalent work experience
- Mortgage related experience preferred, and moderate to strong MS Office and Excel skills
- Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint preferred, including experience creating lists and document/form libraries, and use of web parts.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable interacting with internal management and partners within Freddie Mac
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
